Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Mateware ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Details you give us through our contact form, email or phone: your name, business name, email, phone number and project details.
  • Information needed to deliver our services, such as account access you choose to share with us during a project.
  • Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (which doesn't use cookies) and may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics uses cookies; you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
  • We do not use advertising trackers, and we never sell your data.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes.
  • To deliver, support and invoice the services you engage us for.
  • We never sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our business, including email (Google Gmail, Cloudflare Email Routing), form handling (Formspree) and analytics (Cloudflare, Google). Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what's needed for them to provide their service.

Keeping it safe

We protect your information with multi-factor authentication, encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it. Client credentials are stored in an encrypted password manager, never in plain email.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing mateware.au@gmail.com.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
